I have to admit, I was really not sure how this was going to go. I just imagined me handing Charlie over to Santa and him just losing it. Surprisingly, that didn't happen! He actually was really laid back about the whole thing. And, I have to say, our Santa was fantastic! He was really gentle with Charlie and while Grandma Betty and I looked at the photos, Santa sang to him. It was truly sweet to see! I'm sure this will go VERY differently next Christmas but for now I'll focus on how wonderful this experience was!
I think that actually IS Santa! (My two year old has yet to take a decent santa pic).
ReplyDeleteJust to answer your question that you posted on my blog, in case you don't get back there, I used SKY BLUE americolor gel paste for my red and blue flower chocolate cookies :) It has to be sky, not royal, and start with one drop at a time! (it turns blue fast)
